Aryana Sheibani (b.2002) is a Swiss Iranian, artist born and based in London. Sheibani is an artist whose practice explores weaving as a means of transformation, preservation, and repair. Working with decommissioned and broken technologies such as televisions, iPads, and mobile phones, she envelops familiar objects in intricate thread, giving them a new material and symbolic life.

Her work brings traditional craft into dialogue with technology, memory, and personal history. Through the intimate and meditative act of weaving, obsolete devices become vessels existing beyond their original function and reflecting on the relationship between past, present, and future.
